Gloomy days and Grand Openings

I believe I am beginning a bout with depression, brought on by stress, but totally enhanced by the gloomy and rainy weather we have had for one week!  I honestly don't recall the last day I saw the sun.  All I want to due is curl up under a blanket and take a nap!
But I was able to muster up the energy to drive into a neighboring town who opened a Tractor Supply store today.  I LOVE that store!  We picked up a water bottle for the rabbits and Purina Straregy horse feed.  This is my favorite feed but had been unable to feed it since the closest dealer was an hour away.  I guess now I can curl up under that blanket and take a nap!  Have a nice weekend.

  1. One of the things I miss most about Kentucky was Tractor Supply and the fact that I could GET to a store in an hour!

I can sympathize completely with the onset of a depression like state of mind this time of year. I usually get to the point of not wanting to do anything in December when there's only 4 hours of daylight, at least a foot of snow and it just doesn't seem worth it to spend 30 minutes getting dressed to go outside. Much less the 30 minutes it takes to get undressed and forever to get warmed back up.

  2. Tractor Supply is my favorite store also! They have lots of western wear and Jewelry that I love! Plus everything inbetween! Hope you feel better, we all have those depressing and stressful times! You are not alone!

  3. Hi Christina! Thank you for stopping by my blog!! I've just scrolled through yours and will comment here about all of it! hehe! It has been terrible gloomy here. I was feeling like I was shriveling up! But we have sun now. My sister is in Lexington. Kentucky is beautiful country.

Girl - I got issues! Time management, kid management, horse and ranch management, husband management, real estate management, domestic management . . . you name it! If I want time to do devotions or exercise, I have to rise at 4:45am. Yep, I'm probably not getting enough exercise or time alone with the Lord.

I find that I hold my breath when I make a run so if the pattern is big, you better believe I'm suckin' air when I'm done. My daughter, Bailey, stays off her horse until about 2 or 3 runs before she goes. Her horse senses her nervousness and so she gets down, looks at the diagram of her pattern that she keeps in her pocket, reads her favorite scripture and just kinda removes herself from the moment. She runs a whole lot faster then I do right now so I tend to follow her lead!

Come back by. I'm gonna add you to my blog roll. Being in a rural setting, I've found some incredible friends, blogging and have had the priviledge to meet some of them face to face!

    Blessings~
